The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a bit expensive (300 baht) but had a lot of variety, with enough options to satisfy specialty diets (vegetarian, keto, diabetes friendly, etc). The room was good sized and the bed was comfortable. I arrived at 11 pm so a taxi was the best option to get to the hotel. It was 300 baht. I took a taxi to return to the airport so as to not hassle with luggage. Traffic was good so it took about half an hour and cost 250 with meter and toll fee. Make sure to allow time for bad traffic. Using bts in the day is easy as it is connected to the hotel’s second floor. The local buses from Siam center go to the main sightseeing areas. I found this easier than the bts and then having to take the river boat. Just north of the hotel you can also take a river boat towards the touristy areas and catch wat saket on the way. I enjoyed this route but did a lot of walking. It takes about 45 -60 min to get to the area with the grand palace and wat pho, but mbk is quite close and chatuchak market is about 25 min. If you take a tuk tuk tour in the touristy areas they will take you to 2 smaller temples that dont take much time to see and then take you to jewelry stores (the factory) and tailors until you buy something so they get a commission. Just be aware.

although this hotel is an old hotel with old interior furniture but the concept layout design for the common area and the guest room is appropriate, front desk staff very helpful but less of smile we love the direct drinking water supply pipe at toilet basin many people commented the room lights very dark and air con too cold, actually there is a control panel to control all these features we love the connection of BTS directly to the hotel's 2nd floor, this is super convenient , a few famous shopping mall are only a few stations away from this hotel , 7 min walking distance along the river to Jim Thompsom museum and another 7 min distance from Jim Thomson to art museum and siam paragon

- There’s a parking space next to the hotel which is very convenient for tourist, however need to walk some steps from the parking to the hotel as they are separate buildings. - Locate excatly at the BTS station - Staff is very kind and nice - Even the room is outdate (assuming the hotel is very old) all facilities were working just fine and everything was prepared (towels, kettle, water, hair dryer) - Hot water is stable - Control panel next to the bed - A buffet breakfast is so nice as there are a lot of options and cuisine for you to choose - There are also a very good cafe at the hotel called ROOTS

The location is superior as there's a inter connection hall between BTS station (Sukhumvit line) and the hotel for guest can reach the Ratchathewi station easily (1 stop from Siam station). The room deco is old but the cleanliness is good. Within 5 mins walk from the hotel, you can find 7-11, massage and delicious street food, so given the price and the excellent location, I'd recommend to people who like to spend time outside exploring local life!!!

The Hotel was 7 minutes walk to Siam street which is shopping destination, opposite of hotel there are couple of bars with live music which you can spend your evening there. hotel has direct access to Metro line. Breakfast was good and room was clean.
